Service concept
Qualified before protected.
Eligible NDC Protect plans can be selected and configured through the NDC customer journey. Every order remains Pending until technical qualification and manual acceptance; fulfilment begins only after acceptance.
- Workload fit: platform, source health, data volume, dependencies, business role, and fallback are reviewed.
- Documented boundary: inclusions, exclusions, retention assumptions, support windows, and responsibilities must be written.
- Observable operation: protection status, exceptions, and response ownership are designed to be reviewable.
- Recovery path: verification is separately authorized, bounded, and evidenced.
Qualification and manual acceptance required
Ordering and billing do not imply activation or automatic provisioning. No SLA, universal RPO/RTO, automatic failover, immutability, 24×7 support, or recovery guarantee is included unless an approved service order expressly provides it.
